If I Could

Here’s the video I was talking about earlier – finally up on YouTube. First time working with a prime lens and available light only (who needs lights? Ha!).

Can’t believe this video doesn’t have more comments. To be honest, this is my favourite JAB video.

I agree, there should be way more comments about this video, but now that it’s on you-tube, that’s probably where most of the feedback will be. Hopefully it will spark an interest in the making of the video (which is stunning), and you, Jim Chuchu, for directing it.
So many reasons why this video is so cool… From the opening shot when both characters wake up, we start to care about them, just by watching them get ready for the day. They are different, and also they are alike. The ending is so different from what one is hoping for. Yet, it makes total sense…. it’s a slice out of life, and part of life (probably the most trajic part) is what we never get to learn about each other, or about ourselves.
Well (sigh) enough philosophizing. Jim, this video is awesome. So full of little details that keep the viewer’s mind “awake”. Congrats. Looking forward to seeing more of your work!
