OOH that comment earlier was kinda harsh. To be fair those questions were really general but they allowed the artist to really have the space to freely speak about his work, passions.

You are absolutely correct Jim went above and beyond in answering the questions. This interview remains one of the most popular interviews we've had on African Digital Art. Not only was his responses insightful they resonated with African digital artists all over the world.

Wow. That is a prime example of "how to save an uninspired and ignorant interview by giving excellent answers far beyond the questions". The interviewer(s) obviously had left their brains in cold storage when assembling the trite and clichéd questions.
Kudos to Jimmy to his willingness and his excellent and rich answers! His last line above ("thanks for having me..."), in this light, gains deliciously ambiguity.

This is the line i liked most " I began to wonder why there’s such a shortage of innovation in Africa that when someone sticks bulbs in a box he becomes an inventor. " ...That must be a crazy thought yet true.

Great interview. I think you saying "I don’t know if I’m in a place where I can start dishing out advice, I still have a long, long way to go. Give me a couple more years?" was a very humble and wise thing to say.
